West Ham are coming to the aid of Dagenham & Redbridge.

The Mirror reports West Ham are leading the fight to help cash-strapped Dagenham and Redbridge by playing a friendly on Wednesday, March 21.

The Premier League side have also donated signed shirts for their National League neighbours to auction to raise money as they battle for survival.

All proceeds from the game will go to the hosts with joint-chairman David Sullivan keen to assist a local club in need.

Dagenham and Redbridge have been in dire financial trouble and some time and are listening to offers for all of their players.
