West Ham United were unable to win their first match in six as West Bromwich Albion snapped a losing streak of three as the sides drew 2-2 at Upton Park.
The Hammers found themselves behind in the 38th when Peter Odemwingie converted from the penalty spot after Luis Boa Morte knocked Steven Reid down in the area.
However, the stunned crowd were soon dancing when Scott Parker leveled five minutes later with a stunning 25-yard free-kick.
Things hit fever pitch at the Boleyn Ground when Frederic Piquionne stepped up to the spot after Kieron Dyer was felled by Gabriel Tamas five minutes after the re-start. With regular penalty taker Mark Noble out, Piquionne took the honours and fired home to give his side the lead.
An elusive win was within reach for West Ham until Pablo Ibanez headed home from a Chris Brunt cross to consign the East Londoners to bottom of the table whilst moving to 11th themselves.
