West Brom midfielder Jason Koumas is ready to go on strike to get his move to the Premiership.
The Mirror says Koumas was hoping for clearance to speak to Everton and Wigan yesterday as both clubs closed in on chairman Jeremy Peace's £4.5 million valuation.
But Peace then increased the asking price to a stunning £5.5m, leaving Koumas absolutely fuming and poised to boycott preseason training.
Koumas has shown in the past that he has the bottle to go on strike and he also paid the fines dished out when he was in dispute with former boss Bryan Robson.
Now Koumas wants to go to the top flight and will go ahead with his threatened move if he is not cleared to talk to Everton and Wigan over the weekend.
