West Bromwich Albion midfielder Scott Allan has been questioned by police over an alleged traffic accident.
The Mail on Sunday reports Allan has been questioned by police after allegedly reversing over a man on Friday.
The 20-year-old, currently on a month's loan at Portsmouth, is supposed to have been reversing his Audi Q7 in the road when it hit the pedestrian and left him with critical head injuries.
Allan then played against Notts County on Saturday in the first round of the FA Cup - and was sent off for kicking Jamal Campbell-Rice.
Portsmouth confirmed the Scottish U21 international had been involved in a road accident but made no further comment.
