West Brom boss Tony Mowbray is delighted with the form shown by the club's youngsters during their tour this week of Germany and Holland.
Graham Dorrans, David Worrall, Sherjill MacDonald and Jared Hodgkiss all played a part in the two games, with Luke Daniels featuring for the second half against FC Koln.
The boss was impressed with the attitude and application of Albion's younger contingent, especially in the Saturday's game against Koln.
"The young players who came on in the second half did exceptionally well and pushed themselves into my thoughts," said Mowbray.
"They have shown they are not overawed by playing in the first team.
"They were only really on tour to get experience. The talent was there for all to see and so was their work ethic and their desire to do well."
