West Bromwich Albion are yet to identify any candidates to succeed Dan Ashworth as technical director.

The Birmingham Mail says they are still some way from being anywhere near appointing a new sporting and technical director.

Damien Comolli is the latest to be linked with the role but Albion are merely in the process of sifting through potential candidates, although they have spoken to several candidates already.
