Birmingham City have revealed that they have not yet been contacted by West Bromwich Albion regarding manager Chris Hughton.
Hughton has emerged as one of the leading targets for the Albion job, recently vacated by new England boss Roy Hodgson, but the Blues have made it clear that no official approach has been made by the Baggies.
The former Newcastle United manager is being linked with the role at The Hawthorns along with German tactician Ralf Rangnick but so far there has been nothing official land in the St Andrew's inbox.
