Aston Villa's 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at Villa Park on Tuesday night counts for nothing when the two sides do battle again this weekend.
Christian Benteke won the West Midlands derby for Villa with a calmly-taken penalty in the dying stages after Baggies ace Saido Berahino had canceled out Gabby Agbonlahor's opener but the Belgian striker insists the result means nothing ahead of the FA Cup quarter-final at the same venue on Saturday.
"Everyone is now looking forward to Saturday and to try and do the same," said Benteke. "It was a big boost especially as it came over one of our local rival clubs.
"I hope the FA Cup can be special for us. But I don't think this win gives us an advantage over West Brom. It's another competition."
