The duo are fighting for one place in boss Steve Clarkeâ€™s team when the Baggies kick off their Premier League season against Southampton at The Hawthorns next Saturday.
â€śBillyâ€™s been superb in the last two seasons,â€ť Reid told the Express & Star. â€śI would have liked to have played a lot more games last season but at times there is a place for Billyâ€™s attacking threat.
â€śThere is a time for myself to play because you will come up against teams where you need more height and not as much of an attacking threat.
â€śSo I think we complement each other and I am realistic enough to know Iâ€™m not going to play every game in a league season and hopefully me and Billy can both get our games in.â€ť
