West Brom told to up bid for Rangers attacker Naismith

Rangers have slapped a £3.5 million price-tag on attacker Steven Naismith.

West Bromwich Albion have seen a £2 million offer rejected by Gers.

Naismith, 25, has emerged as one of Rangers' brightest talents since joining from Kilmarnock but has spent a considerable length of time on the sidelines and will not play again this season after suffering cruciate-ligament damage.

Before suffering the knock, he had looked in ominous form, scoring 10 goals to follow up the 16 he grabbed last season
