The Express & Star says Amavi looks set to leave Aston Villa this summer with West Brom set to make a move for the left-back.
The Baggies cooled their interest in Leeds left-back Charlie Taylor with Amavi offering an attacking alternative.
Steve Bruce's men rejected a rumoured £25m bid for the 23-year-old ast December, but could now sell for a cut price £7m.
