West Bromwich Albion fullback Steven Reid has hailed the improvement in Shane Long's game.
Reid admits teammates have noticed the striker's development over the last 12 months.
"He's done superbly," Reid told the Sunday Mercury.
"He's become the main man for Ireland. Rom took a lot of the headlines last year with his goals but Longy did a lot of the dirty work was a striker.
"He ran the channels, he harassed defences all night long. Goals might get the headlines and credit but you often get players talking about others who don't get the credit.
"If Longy can get more goals then he really will be the complete package."
