West Bromwich Albion are eyeing released QPR veteran striker Bobby Zamora.

The 34-year-old striker is a free agent following his release from QPR.

The Mail on Sunday says he is wanted by Brighton boss Chris Hughton to spearhead the south-coast side's push for promotion next season.

Zamora has attracted some interest from Premier League side West Brom, but the prospect of guaranteed first-team action at Brighton might be what sways him in their favour.
