Ferrie Bodde's move away from Swansea City continues to drag on.

Bodde's immediate future remains unclear and the Swans have already officially rejected two bids from Derby for the 26-year-old Dutchman.

Middlesbrough and West Brom have also been linked with a move for Bodde, who has recently spoken of his desire to join the Rams.

As the Swans prepared to jet out to their Scandinavia training base on Sunday, Bodde was forced to travel back to his native Holland for personal reasons, sparking fresh speculation he is set to move away from the Liberty Stadium.

But club officials expect Bodde to link up with the rest of the squad on Monday.

A club spokesman confirmed: "Ferrie Bodde went back home to Holland for personal reasons on Sunday and is due to join up with the rest of the squad in Sweden on Monday."
