West Bromwich Albion hope to have a new manager installed by the end of the week.

The Birmingham Mail says former Valencia coach and Liverpool defender Mauricio Pellegrino, Stuart Pearce and Pepe Mel are among the candidates spoken to in the recent weeks.

Albion are keen to appoint by the end of the week - certainly before Saturday's game with Southampton.
