West Bromwich Albion plan to table Saido Berahino a bumper new deal for consideration.
The Sunday Telegraph says Berahino will be offered a new four-year deal worth around £25,000 a week as a reward for his impressive rise, barely 12 months after he was only earning £850 a week.
Albion have already held "positive" early talks with Berahino's representatives and discussions are expected to continue next week. Jeremy Peace, the club's chairman, is determined to ensure he remains at the Hawthorns for the rest of the season before a review of the situation in the summer.
Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are all admirers of Berahino - who is rated at around £25?million - and Albion are aware they face a struggle to keep him for another season.
