West Brom stunned by rejection from TPS Turku keeper Jukka Lehtovaara

West Bromwich Albion are shocked by the rejection of goalkeeper Jukka Lehtovaara.

The Sunday Mercury says Lehtovaara has stunned West Brom by turning his back on a potential dream move to the Premier League.

The young Finnish goalkeeper had agreed personal terms and passed a medical.

The 23-year-old is currently playing for Finland Veikkausliiga side TPS Turku, who were happy to grant him a life-changing transfer to England.

However, somewhat surprisingly, Lehtovaara, rejected the move, citing his unwillingness to leave Scandinavia, presumably due to potential homesickness.
