West Bromwich Albion are pricing themselves out of a sale for Spanish midfielder Borja Valero.
The newly-promoted Baggies has become a strong target for Sevilla but they do not want to pay too much for the 25-year old after West Brom re-valued him at £6.5million.
The Baggies originally rejected an offer of £2.5m, saying they wanted about double but after Sevilla's improved bid of £3.3m, West Brom said they were after about £6.5m.
Valero joined the club in 2008 from Real Mallorca for a club-record £4.7m.
