West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie credits manager Roy Hodgson for his return to form.
Odemwingie says he feels he has finally put his fitness problems behind him after making two successive Barclays Premier League starts.
"It was a special week for me, I started to feel much better and all the little pains have been going away slowly. Physically I'm myself again.
"There's no need to motivate myself much because it's the Premier League, I love it.
"It's a very big league. I love it and I'm just happy the little pains I had are gone. Everyone was frustrated but I was the most frustrated person.
"I'm very quick and aggressive when I play and when something is disturbing me I can't show my best.
"You have so many supporters and opinions so it was a tough period.
"The head coach said himself this week that what makes you a man, a footballer of this level, is when you can block these things out.
"It was a very good comment from him because in this sport there are a lot of opinions.""It wasn't the easiest period for me in the head but I kept working hard all week," said Odemwingie to the WBA website.
