West Brom striker Odemwingie frustrated by injury

West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie has admitted frustration wit his injury relapse.

The Nigerian said he hoped to be fit in time for Sunday week's long trip to Norwich City.

He has elaborated more on his frustrations, admitting the injury had been nagging away for a while.

"Unfortunately the action hasn't started for me yet," said Odemwingie. "Maybe it was a mistake on the part of the medics as well as myself underestimating the injury, never wanting to see the truth in the whole situation. I played 20 minutes against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and did not expect to be out (against Stoke) but it's unfortunate.

''That's football for you and I will have to keep working hard so as to make sure I come back to action very soon."
