Peter Odemwingie says victory over Blackburn Rovers is proof of West Bromwich Albion's team spirit.

Odemwingie insisted last week's heated exchange with Ben Foster in the dying stages of last weekend's 2-0 defeat at Goodison Park is now well and truly behind them as the Baggies seek a top-half finish.

"We've put all of that to one side," he told the WBA website.

"As a result of not being satisfied with the team's performance, sometimes you can lose your head.

"It's important to respond like we did today.

"It was a time when we needed to come together and win."
