West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long has called on the club to appoint a new manager.
Long believes an appointment would be welcomed within Albion's dressing room, although he also paid tribute to Keith Downing's spell as caretaker boss.
He said: "Obviously Keith and Dean (Kiely) have come in and done a terrific job. They got six points from the four games and they've done very well but yes we'd like a bit of clarity, not least for the players to understand what the rules will be under a new manager.
"It's always a new lease of life because people want to impress him but the lads are playing well for Keith and that's important too so if he stays a bit longer that's good too."
