West Bromwich Albion striker Lateef-Elford Alliyu has joined Tranmere Rovers on-loan.

The 19-year-old forward has moved to Prenton Park on a 28-day youth loan.

Alliyu hit five goals from 14 starts during a successful spell at Tranmere last season, which was cut short by injury.

The England youth international rejoins Rovers in 17th place in League One - six points clear of the bottom four.
