West Bromwich Albion striker Simon Cox insists his wonder goal at Tottenham was no fluke.

Cox celebrated by treating his wife to a night at top London hotel Claridge's.

He said: "Was it a cross or a shot? It was meant all day.

"I couldn't see a pass on so I just thought 'Oh, go for the far corner."
