West Bromwich Albion striker Simon Cox is happy with his current midfield role.
Cox is glad his hard work in training is paying dividends - and hopes his and the team's fortunes change quickly after taking just one point from the last 15 available.
"I'm happy to get Premier League minutes under my belt," he told the WBA website.
"It is always better to come on when you're winning and getting positive results but at this moment in time I'm being thrown on to nick goals - and it's not happening.
"But I'm happy to be getting a chance. It's good for the CV, from a personal point of view. I'd like to start more games but it's up to the head coach.
"He has to see something during the week which warrants it. I've been happy with my situation. Dan Ashworth and I said we'd chat after the Leicester cup game but that never happened because I was happy with what was going on.
"Blackpool was unfortunate and then I started against Manchester City so it's been okay for me in that respect.
"Coming on as a substitute, you do hope the game can open up when you're coming on. I enjoy the role. I can see myself playing there a lot.
"It's one of those where you need to see a lot of the ball and I enjoy playing off Peter or Marco. It's a position I can see myself playing in a lot."
