West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino admits he lost his way last season.
Berahino says the sacking of his mentor Steve Clarke sent him off the rails and that life became difficult under Pepe Mel.
But the Burundi-born frontman is now back on track under Alan Irvine.
Ahead of today's home match with Burnley, Berahino said: "Losing Steve Clarke touched me, I lost myself. But those things happen.
"I get on with Alan, I think everyone in the building gets on with him - he is just that type of guy.
"That's what I think we needed as players. We needed someone to get everyone together."
