West Brom boss Tony Mowbray was left to reflect on a host of missed chances following the 1-1 home draw with Portsmouth. He told Sky Sports: "We had opportunities. We have suffered for weeks now because of missed chances and then ultimately conceding goals.

"I thought we played well for a period. The longer the game went on they became more adventurous and started asking more questions, and yet we were always a threat on the counter-attack.

"A frustrating day for us I would suggest.

"But we are off 11 points, we have been there for a long time, and hopefully this will be the catalyst for us to push on and win some football matches.

"We go to Sunderland next week and we will be looking for three points."
