West Bromwich Albion management and players have been amazed by the response from fans to their tour of Holland.
Over 400 Baggies fans made the trip to see West Brom beat VVV Venlo 2-1.
Boss Roberto di Matteo told the club's website: "The fans have been unbelievable today.
"There was so many here it felt like we were back home.
"It was amazing."
He then quipped: "I think the beer helped them enjoy the occasion. I'm sure the bars inside the ground had a high turnover!"
Winger Jerome Thomas added: "It was great to see so many fans over here enjoying themselves.
"It lifted us before the game and we'll hopefully keep putting in performances for them."
