Chris Brunt is hoping for a positive result between Arsenal and Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals as a draw would impact on West Bromwich Albions fixture schedule. If the tie is drawn a replay would mean Albion's next game against the Gunners on March 19 would be postponed.
That would leave Roy Hodgson's side next in action at home to Liverpool on April 2.
"We want it settled because it would mean a month without a game and that's a long time, especially coming off the back of the win we've just had," Brunt told the club's official website.
"We want the next game to come around because of the little run we're on with six points from our last four games. A lot of the lads will be away for internationals the week after we're due to play Arsenal so, if the worst comes to the worst and the Arsenal match is called off, at least a lot of the lads will have had a little bit of football.
"But it would be a long time to be training without a match and with the results we've had lately, we just want to play the next match and keep on ticking over because, at the moment, we are doing OK."
