West Brom skipper lauds boss Hodgson for instilling discipline

West Bromwich Albion captain Chris Brunt attributes the club's upturn in fortunes to the new discipline installed by boss Roy Hodgson. The Baggies are unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches, five of which have been overseen by former Liverpool boss Hodgson, who was appointed in February.

The 26 year old told the club's official website: "Since the gaffer took over we have become a lot more disciplined and solid as a team. Everybody knows what they are doing and there are no grey areas.

"It makes a massive difference when you can do something on the pitch knowing the rest of the team know exactly where you're going to be.

"And if you do something wrong, you know there is always going to be some cover for you. That's the stuff the gaffer is doing with us from Monday to Friday and it's paying off at the weekend."
