West Brom skipper Brunt eager to reform Gera partnership

West Bromwich Albion skipper Chris Brunt hopes Zoltan Gera is fully fit for their clash with Bolton Wanderers.

The duo were reunited in Baggies jerseys for the first time in three-and-a-half years when Gera made his second debut for the club after a six-month injury lay off at Arsenal ten days ago.

"It was good to see Zolly back against Arsenal," said Brunt to WBA's website. "He's a great character but obviously lacking a bit of match fitness at the moment.

"It will do him the world of good to get some football under his belt for Hungary because that's something you need.

"He's had a bad time of it with his injury and it's just good to see him back at the club and back to being near to his old self.

"Hopefully, after the international break, we'll see the kind of Zoltan Gera we saw during his last spell at the club.

"I am sure he can get back to the sort of form he showed when he was here before he left."
