West Bromwich Albion are believed to be keen on Atletico Lanus striker Mariano Pavone.
The 29-year old Argentine has emerged on the Baggies' summer transfer hitlist with the fact he is available on a free catching the eye of the West Midlands club.
Pavone, who has represented Argentine on one occasion, kicked off his career with Estudiantes before spending about four years in Spain with Real Betis which included a loan with River Plate before heading to Lanus last year.
