West Bromwich Albion are ready to open talks with Udinese striker Matej Vydra.
The Sunday Mercury says the Baggies also hope to speak with Vydra in the coming week or so.
The 21-year-old, who hit 20 goals for Watford during a loan spell last season, has been granted a move away from Italy.
Albion will face competition for the striker, with Sunderland, Swansea and West Ham all keen on him.
