The 19-year old New Zealand international has scored 10 goals in all competitions since joining on loan from West Bromwich Albion in August but he is not taken aback by the performances he has produced as he always believed he had the talent to do well at the top.
"I don't think so," he told Birmingham's official website.
"I always knew I could play at this level, I always knew I could score goals from a young age so it was hopefully only a matter of time before I found that.
"I did get my opportunity at Nacional (in the Europa League) and hopefully I made some impact and showed what I could do.
"I have come on leaps and bounds from there and hopefully I can keep progressing and keep my name in that starting XI."
