Chris Wood says he would love to remain with Championship club Birmingham City for a bit longer.
The 19-year old New Zealand international has been on loan from top flight outfit West Bromwich Albion for two months but after scoring eight goals in 11 outings for the Blues, wants to remain at St Andrew's.
"I would love to be here for longer," Wood told the Birmingham Mail. "But it's down to the two clubs now for them to decide what's best for them and what's best for my future.
"They will be talking over the next few days and we'll see how it goes from there.
"I'll have a little bit of input but it's out of my hands. Both clubs know I want to stay here and kick on."
