West Brom midfielder Borja Valero is keen to remain with Real Mallorca after his loan spell with the Spanish club expires.
The 24-year old is on loan at Mallorca for the remainder of the current season and is hoping that he can impress the Spaniards enough in that time so he can be offered a permanent contract to join the Barralets.
"I want to play very well so that all the parties can agree to a move," said Valero, who joined Albion for £4.7million last summer.
"I hope I am given the opportunity at Mallorca so that the purchase option is possible to be made effective.
"The economic situation of the Mallorca is not easy and the clause is high, but at least it's agreed and we know where we are."
Valero landed at The Hawthorns in August 2008 from Mallorca but was loaned back to them when Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo made him surplus to requirements during pre-season.
