West Bromwich Albion defender Liam Ridgewell is delighted to have Ben Foster with him at the club on a permanent basis.
The 29-year old goalkeeper spent last season on loan with the Baggies before signing a permanent deal to join from Birmingham City recently and Ridgewell feels it is a great inclusion for the West Midlands club.
"Signing Ben was absolutely fantastic - one of the best pieces of news of the summer," he told the club's official website.
"The term world class is easily used these days - but Foz really is that good.
"He gives great confidence to the defenders playing in front of him.
"I'm sure a few clubs wouldn't have minded signing him so for us to get him was a fantastic bit of business."
