The agent of West Bromwich Albion star Peter Odemwingie says his client has now accepted the decision made by the Nigeria Football Federation.
The Baggies hitman showed his frustrated when he was axed from the Super Eagles squad for a friendly against Argentina and an African Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia next month and it is believed that some Nigeria players were set to strike if Odemwingie was not reinstated.
But his representative, David Omigie, said that the 15-goal striker had now accepted the decision.
"The Nigerian Football Federation is the governing body and their decision must be respected," Omigie said.
"What happened in the past is not an issue we want to go back to because of the respect Peter has for the federation and the coach and the loyalty he has to Nigeria.
"He will be ready to play when he is called on again."
