West Brom's Odemwingie again emerges as QPR target

Unwanted West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie has re-emerged as a transfer target for QPR.

The Nigerian was caught up in a transfer bungle on deadline day in January when he arrived at Loftus Road to complete the signing of a contract which never existed.

However, R's chairman Tony Fernandes suggests that manager Harry Redknapp may make a play for the former Lokomotiv Moscow man despite being relegated to the Championship.

"Never say never," he said on London Call-In.

"It depends what West Brom want to do as well - it depends what Peter wants to do but I think Harry (Redknapp) likes the player."
