West Bromwich Albion boss Roy Hodgson is delighted with the number of players he feels he can use to cover for the injured Zoltan Gera.
The Hungarian midfielder is out for the season after injuring his knee against Tottenham last week with the Baggies manager using Graham Dorrans in a similar role in the 1-1 draw at QPR on Saturday.
Apart from Dorrans, Hodgson has a variety of players who can fill the void and he has indicated who he may deploy in that position from now on.
"There's no doubt about that - we have several players who can play in that position," he told the Birmingham Post.
"We have people like (Peter) Odemwingie or Shane Long who can drop deep.
"We have Simon Cox and James Morrison has played there too.
"So we're not short of people who can play in that second striker position, it's a case of having someone who can interpret it well."
