West Brom's Di Matteo felt his side deserved maximum points

West Bromwich Albion manager Roberto Di Matteo rued the misfortune of his side following their 2-2 draw with Wigan Athletic at The Hawthorns on Tuesday night.

Despite scoring a late leveler through Marc-Antoine Fortune to clinch the draw, Di Matteo felt his side were harshly done by during the match as they should have had a late penalty for handball as well as missing some gilt-edged chances than on any other day, may have gone in.

"I feel we deserved a bit more than a draw because we hit the post twice, their keeper made some incredible saves, and we didn't get a penalty again," he said.

"It seems like every game now. We didn't get one today, against Blackburn, against Manchester United.

"They are adding up and they are costing us as well."
