Republic of Ireland striker Simon Cox believes the team can redeem themselves with a much-improved performance against Spain at Euro2012 on Thursday.
West Bromwich Albion's Cox and his Irish teammates were beaten 3-1 by Croatia in their opening Group C clash on Sunday and now they are ready to give their best against the reigning World and European champions.
"We don't fear the Spain game now anyway, so it's going to be a game we will look forward to.
"You don't come to major tournaments and get easy games.
"Now we have probably two of the most-feared nations in world football and we are going to go out and enjoy it.""Now we have got the first game under the belt, we know what the atmosphere is going to be like; we know what the stadium is going to be like," said Cox.
