Shane Long scored twice in the opening 11 minutes as West Bromwich Albion started in a positive fashion against Aston Villa on Monday night.
The Republic of Ireland added to his opening goal of the season in the Baggies' last start against Chelsea a fortnight ago when giving the home side an early advantage at The Hawthorns.
Despite the fact that Albion squandered the lead to be held to a 2-2 draw, manager Steve Clarke was thrilled with the way Long performed and was looking for more of the same in the coming fixtures.
"Shane has been working hard for that type of performance. He's in a good moment," he told Sky Sports.
"Shane has been on a good run of form and hopefully he can keep it going."
