West Bromwich Albion will be without skipper Chris Brunt for new England boss Roy Hodgson's final match in on Sunday. Brunt has had his tonsils removed now as he is a potential candidate for the Great Britain Olympic squad, and wants to ensure he will be available if required by Stuart Pearce.
Albion number two Keith Downing confirmed:
"He has been stop-start with them (the tonsils) so the decision was taken to (remove them) now and it will give someone else the opportunity to play on Sunday." "We know Chris might be considered for the Great Britain team.
