West Bromwich Albion will be without skipper Chris Brunt for new England boss Roy Hodgson's final match in on Sunday. Brunt has had his tonsils removed now as he is a potential candidate for the Great Britain Olympic squad, and wants to ensure he will be available if required by Stuart Pearce.

Albion number two Keith Downing confirmed: "We know Chris might be considered for the Great Britain team.

"He has been stop-start with them (the tonsils) so the decision was taken to (remove them) now and it will give someone else the opportunity to play on Sunday."
