West Bromwich Albion captain Chris Brunt has urged the team to produce a winning result as soon as possible before they get dragged back into the relegation mire.
The Baggies have lost three and drawn one of their past four outings to fall to 14th on the table, just eight points clear of 18th-placed QPR.
West Brom were beaten 2-0 by Everton on Saturday and Brunt has highlighted the importance of recording a victory when Blackburn Rovers come to The Hawthorns this weekend.
"It is going to take a lot of results to drag us back in, but if we are not putting points on the board ourselves there is always a danger of that.
"That is the worst case scenario and it is up to us to start putting points on the board, starting this week, because our last two performances have not been good enough.""We need to start picking up a few results otherwise we are going to get dragged back into things," Brunt told the club's official website.
