West Brom insist Saido Berahino is not for sale this month.
The Telegraph says Albion chairman Jeremy Peace is standing firm over the future of the England Under-21 international and has made it clear there are no plans to offload him in the January transfer window.
Tottenham and Newcastle both made approaches to West Brom in the past 48 hours and were informed in no uncertain terms that Berahino was not for sale.
Peace's hardline stance is also expected to deter Stoke City from stepping up their own interest in the forward, who now looks certain to stay until at least the summer.
