Sunderland midfielder Craig Gardner is attracting rival Premier League interest.

The Daily Mail says West Bromwich Albion are ready to rival Wolves if Sunderland allow Gardner, 25, a move back to the Midlands.

The former England Under 21 midfielder has struggled to settle in the North East and has failed to hit top form since his £5million summer move from Birmingham City.
