Match-winner Gareth Bale admits today's 1-0 win at West Bromwich Albion was a huge result for Tottenham.
The Welsh ace received a pass from Kyle Walker before whizzing past Chris Brunt and unleashed a 20-yard drive past Ben Foster to give Spurs a vital win and he was thrilled to have contributed to his side going within a point of third-placed Chelsea.
"It's massive. We spoke before the game because other results went our way yesterday and that gave us a big chance to capitalise. Thankfully we did," he told Sky Sports 1.
"I think all the lads worked very hard and they deserved the victory."
