West Brom recall Jara, Thorne and Fortune from loans

West Bromwich Albion have recalled a trio of players from loans with Championship clubs.

Gonzalo Jara has been called back from Brighton & Hove Albion, George Thorne returns from Portsmouth and Marc-Antoine Fortune is back at The Hawthorns from Doncaster Rovers as manager Roy Hodgson gets set to deal with a squad shortage.

Hodgson will be without James Morrison to a hamstring injury whilst Paul Scharner and Youssuf Mulumbu are both under injury clouds whilst that pair and Steven Reid are one and two bookings away from suspension.

The Baggies require cover for a busy Christmas period and have decided to recall the three players as they strive to remain clear of the drop zone.
